PELICAN CYCLES challenge was to design a powertrain really powerful to pull a fully loaded cargo bike and trailer up steep streets.

Their unique solution of synchronised motors between the bike and the trailer required a bottom bracket torque sensor capable of providing very accurate and clean torque data in real-time.

Without these precise measurements, the synchronised motors would not function correctly, jeopardising the performance and reliability of their e-cargo bikes.
